Dermot’s Room provides a warm, nurturing environment for babies from 6 months of age. The room is fully self-contained, with a dedicated sleep room and a separate changing area, ensuring your baby’s comfort throughout the day. Care is available from 8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

We understand that leaving your baby in childcare for the first time can feel daunting. With this in mind, we offer a settling-in period to support both parents and babies during this transition. This time allows you and your baby to become familiar with the educators in Dermot’s Room, while also helping us to learn about your baby’s individual needs and daily routine.

Each baby is assigned a key worker who is responsible for their care and wellbeing. Your key worker will provide daily feedback on your baby’s sleep, nappy changes, meals, and drinks, as well as how they are settling into their new surroundings.

Our educators are committed to creating a happy, secure, and stimulating environment where babies can grow and thrive. Communication skills are encouraged through talking, singing action songs, nursery rhymes, and positive interactions. A range of carefully selected materials supports your baby’s natural curiosity and early learning, helping to build strong foundations of trust, confidence, and development.
